Remember, Okay? by purpleflrs Remember, Okay? by purpleflrs
Tribute to 9/11, because we can never forget all those lives that were lost...

I was i believe in elementary school when the plane crashed into the twin towers. All I remember personally was the footage on the news and how scared everyone was. Again, I had a kid perspective...

On the picture: Truthfully, Im NOT supose to be drawing at all, I sprained my hand :iconcryforeverplz: but since I gain so much watchers and the fact that one of my teachers inspire this, I had to draw it. Poor America, this day must make him have bad memories... It must of hurted too...

My teacher: "We have to remember to smile for the lives who can never smile on this world again"

Its sad if that big goofball doesnt smile, its un-natural... Depressed!America? NO. I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS.

Each of the items they are holding represent something to remember, but Ill let you get your own message from this XD (ex. Russia's sunflower means to remember those dreams that were lost)
:iconcryforeverplz: Im sorry its not the best, my hand is injured, you can tell. Im also sorry if this offends anyone or anything... sorry. I dont regret it.

Dont you wish the whole world could just comfort each other on things like this instead of hating each other because we live on different land masses? Sorry if i sound ignorant.

I agree with the message. However reading through the comments I got the feeling that people still believe it was some "terrorist group" who were responsible.

I turned one a few months prior to 9/11. Last year, my teacher told us of a couple (related to him in some way) that worked at the Pentagon. He said that, when the damage separated them, they ran in opposite directions, ALL the way around the building, and met up with each other, safe and sound. To this day, it's one of the most heart-warming and inspirational stories I've ever heard :'-)

On a lighter note: why does that story remind me of RusAme? XD

I'm probably going to be very wrong about what these items represent, but...

I can't tell what Japan is holding.
Germany brought alcohol, which some people use to drown out depression. This could symbolize the sadness all over the nation.
Italy brought food, which could represent people bringing food and other neccesities to the families of victims.
China brought a stuffed animal, which is a child's toy, which could symbolize the innocence lost that day.
France and Russia brought flowers, which could either symbolize the flowers on the victim's graves, or that there is still beauty in the world even after such a travesty.
And finally, Canada just gave America a big hug, which could show how much family can help during troubled times.
